This year’s Architectural Digest Greenroom whisks presenters away from
the hubbub, into a Marrakech-inspired exotic escape. AD 100 interior
designer Martyn Lawrence-Bullard had his eye on surprise, welcoming guests
with an impressive 18-foot tented ceiling. A mix of Moroccan antiques and
comfortable seating fills the space, with silks, linens and woven Suzani fabrics
adding texture. This backstage hot spot, complete with a cool leather-tiled
floor and a custom rug handwoven in Tibet, is both tranquil and transporting—
a perfect sanctuary before the stars take the stage. More info.
